Liz Myers is a sound healing facilitator based in the Julian and San Diego area. Her voice has been described as "other worldly". “It is a voice and sound you must experience in person in order to really take in the healing vibrations."

She discovered the therapeutic benefits of her singing voice in 2012 when a friend of hers secretly signed her up for an open mic. The crowd's jaws dropped and she found that moving past her own fears of singing could benefit many.

Liz combines her training as a yoga teacher, meditation/mindfulness instructor and counselor to infuse your sound healing experience with a deep sense of safety, kindness and care. She uses a variety of instruments for a transformative sound session; singing voice, buffalo drum, hapi drum, rainstick, koshi chimes, singing bowls and more.

She is also an Author, Teacher, and Certified Coach who is passionate about making a positive impact on people who are facing life challenges, by helping them make a lifestyle change to better cope with their situation and heal.

As a teenager, Liz was quite empathic and she was drawn to Psychology. Having struggled with food addiction to being an exercise fanatic and then later incurring injuries and health issues, Liz pushed herself to get out of the cycle of swinging from one extreme to the other. So, she started practicing yoga, meditating, and further dove into holistic healing methods and strategies.

With over 20 years of experience, she found balance and learned to live a healthier and happier life. She has devoted her life to educating others on health and sharing her information to change lives.

Liz’s competence in the field stems from her academic qualifications, which include a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Master of Art in Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counseling.

In addition, she has received various credentials and has been part of many programs including Certified Mindful Coach Training Program, Certified Wellness Coach Training Program, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program, 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher Training, and much more.

In her book A Pocket Guide To Habit Change, she has combined her knowledge, humor and experience to support and encourage others to take ownership of their health and well-being. She also provides meditative sound healing through her singing and percussion instruments that enable others to gain awareness of their mind, body, and spirit.

A compassionate and friendly teacher, when Liz is not busy helping her students, you will find her singing, gardening, practicing yoga, meditating, dancing, swimming, hiking, taking her dog for a walk, and living her best life. She is a good listener who spreads joy, and laughter to everyone she meets.
